Sweet! Where’d you get the files for that? Mainly the scoreboard :)

I started with an Ender 3 S1 and used it for about a year before upgrading to a Bambu P1S. The P1S is a huge improvement when it comes to bed leveling and speed, but I never really had any major issues with my Ender 3 S1. If I ever had a print failure with it, it was my fault because of mistakes I made while slicing or I needed to wash the build plate or relevel. Never had a single clog or catastrophic print failure either. Having the P1S to do auto leveling is really nice, but I appreciate the Ender 3 S1 for introducing me to the hobby and making me learn some of new skills that I wouldn't have if I'd started with a Bambu.

I have to agree, it looks like they are taking everything and trying to make it like what they developed in MCP. Since they killed X-wing, I wanted to get into Legion but now from what I'm hearing with these changes, I don't know if I want to anymore. Is AMG killing all of Star Wars?

So the droid on the sleeper cell is really dumb it’s like a worse version of agile that you have to end a move next to an objective to get not sure what the thought process was there

So what are people doing with their current Corps units? Doesn’t seem like there’s a pack coming out to pull out useless existing models (clone DC15) and fill in with new units (and add the 5 extra troopers). I’m guessing I’ll hold onto my existing squads to use if I don’t choose to use the large squad size. I really hope any new B1 design is easier to construct than the old one!

Bro keeps saying he’s saving his reservations and then says he doesn’t like changes. “Heroes mean less” is one heck of a phrase when so many of them got amazing updates to increase their longevity- the +4 health take would be a pretty cool thing to see though. If you get charged by a giant fleet trooper unit with no dead models you maybe deserve it (I tried using the large b1 unit with a heavy and they died round 2

This video is 100% accurate. Great job!!!!! I checked out of legion the day after they announced the changes. It’s sad because I loved the game! But this is not the game I loved. So maybe I’ll play a little bit but I’m definitely not buying anything else.

This feels a lot like x wing...I hope this game doesn't fall the same way

When they made their X-wing edition, I got the same vibes about why the changes were made that you're seeing in legion. A lot of it was like you could tell someone showed them a single weird troll move that never did that well and they got so hurt by it they changed a bunch of stuff to stamp it out. But then as we know, no change exists in a vacuum, so they had to change other stuff, to cover for the first change stuff, that then needed other things changed because the first two changes, and then it's a downward spiral to the whole thing is different.

The rules feel so much nicer, im not sure why everyones so worried about the new cover being complicated its just all white dice with no modification per wound it takes all of 5 seconds, it makes the game much more pleasant because its not just republic gunline digging into barricades.

Personally staying open minded till I get some reps under the new rules. However I do agree that the new static deployments/objectives instantly gave me MCP and SP vibes...neither of which I like.

Its not an online game.. play it however the heck you want. my son and I play together it wont affect us haha

Klipper with a Raspberry Pi made a world of difference for me with my cheap Enders. I can push them to their limits and as long as there is not hardware breakdown they just print. My newest printer in an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max and I couldn't it happier it came pre-installed with Klipper. Try it out to give your old printers a new life. After watching your video I feel like my next buy will will be a BambuLabs to see what the hype is about ☺

Instead of being mad at AMG, for changing the game to be more in line with their skill sets and passions, maybe fans should be mad at FFG for letting Alex Davies leave to begin with and their structural changes. AMG seems to have made a lot of great desicions with these changes. I doubt it brings back people who have left legion to shatterpoint but new people might join... Or the game will doe so AMG can tocus on shatterpoint.

Yeah but I have a problem with bamboo having to be online. Whenever bamboo sends out an update to where I can use any slicer that I want and the printer does not have to be online then we can talk about it

Its not a creality thing man. I went from an Ender 5 to a Voron 2.4 and never looked back. I'll never own an unenclosed or bedslinger machine again. Its just that the industry has been sprinting forward so fast over the last couple years, and really good modern printers are just so much better now. So yeah, all the money we used to spend 'upgrading' Ender 3's and 5's seems silly now when you can just spend a bit more (or a lot more) and get something really good. Something really complete and functional and much more capable. Creality also makes really good machines now too though because its not just a race to the cheapest possible machines. A $1000 printer is a lot different to a $200 printer. I wouldn't buy one for myself, but I would consider them for someone I knew. The only real advantage Bamboo has is that they do make parts available through their own store in lots of regions whereas with Creality you have to hope there is some 3rd party reseller near you that might have parts. That might be improving though as other companies force them to do better. In Australia right now I can buy a new K1C for well under $1000. A fully enclosed high speed machine that will print everything from PLA (if you are still into that) all the way to polycarbonate blends, ABS glass fibre and Nylons. That was unthinkable to me even just over 2 years ago.

I feel for you, when xwing 2.0 became 2.5 it was quite a shock especially as a playtester. We weren't involved until after the announcement.

I hope this doesn't come off wrong, its kind of stupid but my first thought was “woah? Boogie is into 3d printing?” it's a little sad but I literally still have no clue if you're boogie or not. I'm assuming not, since the views are lower than I'd expect

I feel like alot of changes the made reduces the bloat from the old rules. As someone who has played alot of miniature I feel like the old rules only rewarded gotcha mechanics (especially at turnoments). Also I think the reducing to 5 turns makes since, most games feel so dragged on at turn 6. As someone who didn't care for legion in 2024 I'm excited at trying this new balance and as someone who plays other amg games I trust them to make a fun game.

Started with an ender 3 SE Just last fall. Without any issues, just wanted to up grade and since every printer you see a review of compares it to Bambu labs models I knew if they were the benchmark others fell short of I had to check them out and Snagged a Refurb X1C Bundle with AMS from Microcenter for like 1200 they carry them and had P1S bundles as well. Absolutely could not believe the difference. Speed, beautiful results, seems quieter from how far I sit from it than the Ender. I knew the AMS had its pros and cons but by doing things like filling the buildplate, good orientation, adjust purge amounts and turn off prime tower. And sometimes just choosing to paint some items rather than filament change can make the waste and time difference minimal. I can do a 3 color dragon in less time than a standard regular color on the ender. Just gave away the ender to a new home today. I'm sure it will serve them well.

Bought an a1 mini and you’re right it just works. I also just bought the k1c and love it more.

With opensource printers it is hard to stop modding = ) Bambulab is great in that matter, you just can't do anything with it. = ) But I agree, anything except the very first Ender 3 is crap. I bought mine Ender 3 with bowden two years ago. Just fixed the bed (with bare hands and later with aluminum tape and metal ruler and flashlight, no BS-touch needed). I do not level the bed every print, I do not fix it, I do not maintain. I never greased anything for two years. Of course I changed coolers and installed DIY DD and changed feeder to BeMeGe(which is printable BMG clone with BMG gears set). I changed cube to copper, because aluminium threads do not want to have friendship with me = ) But all in all, I just turn it on, I choose file from SD and it prints. So I kinda understand what do you feel with Bambu printers = ) I also upgraded firmware and enabled LA, Pressure advance, 3000 mm/s2 accelerations and 100-150 mm/s print speed and 500 mm/s for movement. For a $100 printer this is really cool I think. I use PEI sheet so no adhesion trouble. And I print only PETG, so I installed bimetal heatbreak. I watch what new printers are appearing on the market, and I really do not see any value in them. And they cost a lot. Most of them are rubbish. Ender 3 do not need second Z axis bolt, and they all now have it. I do not want to pay for that. So Creality is guilty that people get disappointed. Instead of fixing child problems of first Ender 3, they create new printers and call them with the same name. As for Bambulab, they are great no trouble with that. But they have their own way. For example different models use different parts, and AMS lite is not compatible with AMS. You cannot use AMS with A1 printers and AMS lite with expensive models. And I print right from the electric dry box, which AMS cannot do, and AMS light does not even have cover. People create their own mods for that. I do not fond of that idea. And the price. I bet they cost every $100 of their price. But I do not like closed source infrastructure. I do not tinker with my printer, and Bambu printers need service. I will install POM nut to my Ender 3 so I would not need to grease it at all, as I said, I never greased from factory. But I like to have an option. At first I upgraded firmware and unlocked 300C for nozzle. Later after some month I enabled LA. Now a month ago I enabled Input Shaper. A year ago I assembled filament motion sensor and installed it. So I do not do this every day. But when I feel that I want something I would like to have an option to do it. Bambu slicer does not have an instance option. I was so surprised, nor Orca has. I need to remove clones, reconfigure the base item, and then I need to clone it again. I do not understand this, why so progressive slicers does not have such simple option, to create multiple instances of one objects and after you reconfigure all of them at once? And A1 mini have firmware lock to heat up bed to 80C only. And AMS lock is strange too. I bet they will release AMS 3 which will be incompatible with all previous printer models = ) So I did not buy Bambu and already disappointed. And Ender 3 stock radiator have no trouble with 300C at all I wanted to change it to e3d, and even bought a couple. But it just works, so I did nothing with it. And stock motors and stock belts have no trouble with accel 3000 and speed up to 500. I did not heavy mod my Ender 3. And its print times are comparable with Bambulab X1 Carbon. I checked Bambu slicer estimation for 0.6 nozzle. There is difference no more than 30%. And my Ender 3 does not do 10000 accels. When I first heard about BambuLab I was impressed. But when I start to read more and more, I was disappointed. Yes they are good, that clouds and registration, mobile app, that's alright. But they too suffered from the same marketing BS. Like cosmic speeds and ultra tremble while printing. But when I checked that my Ender 3 can print nearly fast too. And this is like 7 year old model, I wasn't impressed. Yes most people could not set up properly their printer, I would not blame them. I saw a channel where some dude printed multigrid 8x8 on Ender 3 Pro. And it takes him 12 hours. Twelve hours, Karl! My Ender 3 takes less then 4 hours, like 3:30 or so. And Bambu printer takes 2:30. Of course people will buy that printer. So printer manufacturers are guilty that instead of creating the best printer, they just create new models with new problems and adding to cost unneeded features. Like BS-touch or second Z-screw. Or coulor touch screen, LED lights, even Klipper is not needed for simple home printer. I use Marlin and catch up with Bambu speeds. To be fair my Ender 3 is not very old it have 32bit board. But people upgrade to silent board anyway, so 8bit stock board does not really change anything. For me that 7 year old 30mm/s stock speed printer can catch up with top notch printers without changing whole printer to other parts, like 2minitue benchy on ender 3 girl did, is just mindblowing. Sorry for such a long post. I guess it is longer than your video to read = ))

i have an aquila, used it for a week and the filament feeder tension rod snapped in half. have an aluminum one coming in hope it will never break again.

The changes are a big result of AMG taking on the debt from Asmodee who took it from the Embracer group after "breaking" off from them. Basically they changed the rules to make the game swingier, quicker and relying on more models. All actions makes you buy more product.

I'm just going to call it now, they have killed the rebel faction, and made clones and droids more op

I still have my original ender 3 had it for years now still going strong still works well too
